How are you recording and tracking duty periods in Smart Logbook?
Specifically, what’s the best practice to log duty start/end times so they are correctly reflected for duty time calculations and reports?
Any tips or recommended workflows would be greatly appreciated.
Hi José! Currently, Smart Logbook requires adding duty start and end times to the same flight entry to correctly calculate the Duty duration. This would typically be the first or last flight in a multi-leg trip.
In an upcoming version we’ll remove this limitation, so you’ll be able to log duty start and end times on separate flights and Smart Logbook will calculate the duty period correctly. Stay tuned!
